Sitting back and blaming everyone around you is not the right attitude for a CEO. It doesn\’t lead to real results, and it may just make you feel a little better by venting your anger. Even if the employee is truly at fault, it is important to remain calm, encourage them to come up with an appropriate solution, and help save them from the problem.
It is not as easy as it sounds. Mistakes can lead to project loss or failure. The key is to take something useful away from it. If you keep your cool and help solve the problem, you will ensure that in the eyes of your employees, next time they may contact you before such an issue arises.

Remember that work meetings are a good opportunity to highlight projects that have really contributed to the company. It\’s all well and good to name the projects, but they did not serve the company well on their own. Whether you name the entire team or the most deserving person, it will bring a spirit of celebration among the staff. It\’s a good thing, it\’s a joyous thing, and it\’s a no-brainer for the rest of the employees.

Never compare one team of employees to another. Not everyone works exactly the same way and not everyone does exactly the same thing. When you notice disharmony, it\’s time to make a change. But do not take this to mean that you should start threatening to fire people. That will only lead to competition within the team and further antagonize each other.
Think about nice team building. Let them go somewhere on the weekend, or get off work early on Friday and go bowling. Joining a team will not diminish your authority; on the contrary, you are bound to get a favorable response once you understand and become a part of it.
