The concept of education, are we being “over-educated?”
times change. But in the last decade, children who can barely walk and go to the bathroom by themselves in kindergarten are now being given tons of homework by their teachers to get them used to the fact that first grade is not going to be easy. And so the preschoolers, already overwhelmed, prepare to go to school. Parents then send their children to grammar school and then to college or to language school abroad for at least a year. Then they gracefully celebrate their degrees and, not surprisingly, life awaits with open arms for their bright students. Wouldn\’t you agree?
Few are lucky enough to find that real life and dream jobs are not diametrically opposed to the promise and dream of study. Nor do they get their degrees from menial jobs or fast-food restaurants. , and the number of apprenticeships has dropped by more than half in the past decade

On the Internet, in newspapers, and in various surveys and studies, society reads that there is a shortage of workers in common occupations that are perceived as inferior. Engineering, textiles, food production, construction. Not to mention chimney sweepers, miners, foundry workers.
Potential fears of physical labor and fatigue are often replaced by aspects of a much worse reality. Namely, the stress caused by management and competition. In modern times, however, this is considered a normal part of life and a common sacrifice.
Another indicator in decision-making is, of course, financial. However, a skilled toolmaker, for example, can often rival other professions with a salary of $30,000.
The wise philosopher Seneca once said, “Learn for life, not for school.” Over the past two years we have gradually come to understand this fact. And fortunately, subjects that were once an integral part of the curriculum are once again being tested in schools. Various practical activities, techniques, and dishes. Thus, knowledge is intertwined with the life experiences of students and pupils, and pupils and students have the opportunity to become familiar with some crafts and technical skills.
After all, more and more administrators and college students are filling folklore courses with everything from baking to crocheting. This is yet another proof that these ordinary things are appropriate to our lives and still have a use and place in the world.
