How to make apartment cleaning more efficient
We often live in a chaos of clutter. The most common causes are laziness and ignorance. We are overwhelmed by things and cannot help ourselves. Some people are comfortable with this state of affairs, but if you want to change this, don\’t let the following articles inspire you to make up your mind.
Organizing and Planning
Minimalism, or owning only what you really need, is helpful here. If you decide where to put each item, you will not have to think about storing and cleaning up each time you need it. It saves time.
Superficial and thorough tidying
Ideally, tackle clutter, dirty dishes, wet towels, etc. daily. Keeping things superficially tidy saves time and effort when it comes time to do a major cleanup. Thorough cleaning includes dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning toilets, baths, and sinks, and should be done about once a week. In some houses, people hesitate to put their mugs on the counter for fear of getting germs on them; in others, when they walk down the hallway, their supposedly white socks are now black.
Create a routine
If you always follow the same routine, say left to right or top to bottom, it will be absolutely clear where to start. That way, you are more likely to actually start and follow internal instructions. Creating a sort of tidy-up playlist would also make the job a little easier.
Get a dependable helper
Everyone has a favorite cleaning tool. For green cleaning, I recommend using baking soda and vinegar whenever possible, but some surfaces may require a stronger cleaner. Always keep these on hand and use them for different purposes, which will save you money on buying unnecessary bottles. After all, there is no need to have separate cleaners for bathrooms and for kitchen and living room windows.
Involve other members of the household
The last piece of advice is to let the children share the work. Children must also learn to organize their own lives.
