Move your body
This doesn\’t necessarily mean start running or training harder every day. You can start walking more, swimming, yoga, Pilates, walking with friends or your dog, or gardening. General exercise is fine. Exercise is a very important part of life that keeps us healthy and energized. Even if you don\’t feel like it, a walk may release endorphins and increase your productivity.
Limit sugar
Ditch all sugary foods. Instead of refined sugar, buy coconut sugar or stevia. Regular sugar is very unhealthy and many diseases, from obesity to heart attacks, come from sugar. For example, replace sugar in pancakes with ripe bananas, which are sweeter and richer in vitamins and fiber.
Eat real food
You have probably heard the term before. Food is generally divided into primary and secondary foods. Primary foods are those that have been grown somewhere and to which nothing extra has been added. However, cookies and hamburgers are processed foods already made from primary foods. Well, primary foods are called real foods. And logically, things made by nature are healthier.
Clothing
Look in your closet and you will surely find a large section of regular stores. These clothes are made with chemicals that destroy your skin and your health. Furthermore, they are produced in an environment where workers are paid minimum wage and work in terrible conditions. Don\’t be ashamed to buy high quality, healthy clothes, even if you don\’t know who made them. It\’s expensive, but it\’s also an investment in your life.
Cosmetics
Natural cosmetics that are not tested on animals should be part of everyday life. But unfortunately, they are not. The cosmetics we put on our faces and bodies every day contain many carcinogens, cause allergies and rashes, and are damaging the environment. But if you go to a regular drugstore, you can find many natural and vegan products that are not tested on animals. They are not too expensive. Next time, try to find something that won\’t harm you or the planet.
