A Passion Called Sunbathing
For many of us, the sun\’s strong rays provide an energy boost. Especially after the winter season, we long for the sun and devour the rays that first touch our skin. For some of us, exposing our bodies and bronzing has literally become an obsession. On the other hand, some of us can\’t imagine a summer without the sea and sunbathing. As the saying goes, you have to warm your bones. Of course, one cannot live without the sun, and even the slightest caress of the sun is difficult to avoid.
However, the sun does aid in the production of vitamin D. This vitamin has beneficial effects on bone growth. And that\’s not all! After all, the sun has been shown to have a curative effect on certain skin diseases, such as psoriasis, and has a beneficial effect on acne. A good rule of thumb is to protect the skin from UV rays and follow the basic principles of safe sunbathing. This is the only way to avoid premature skin aging and skin cancer.
Safe and reliable protection
- Remove, remove, remove, remove enough! Skin should be protected all year round; UV-filtered creams are ideal. This adequate care should be a matter of course, and not forgetting the sunscreen series of cosmetics, which should be fully applied to the skin all over the body. Certainly, a more appropriate choice is a water-proof or washable product, but still – apply to the body, lubricate, and repeat.
- While this may be objectionable to many, believe me, during the summer months, you need to properly protect yourself, even if you are out of the sun\’s reach, i.e., under a cloud. Even if the sun\’s rays do not burn you, it is important to protect your skin by applying products with the appropriate SPF.
- Critical Time – Probably everyone knows this, but who is observing and adhering to it? Remember, it is most effective for the skin if you really limit your sun exposure to the hours between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
- Regeneration – Even if you treat your skin responsibly in the sun all day and give your skin the proper products, you should always give your skin some regeneration in the form of after-sun products in the evening.
Expose your face and body to the sun!
